° Family-owned manufacturer, Brazil
A family-owned manufacturer that sells to dealers, through online marketplaces and in its own webshop brings orders, production, invoices, payroll and payments together in one Odoo.
The starting point
The company used Odoo only for time and attendance and another ERP for everything else. Orders came in through marketplaces, dealers and direct customers, and it was hard to see where each order stood. Paying employees and suppliers by bank transfer took a lot of time.
What we changed
Sales and electronic invoices
We set up the Brazilian tax rules with electronic invoices (NF-e) and connected the marketplaces directly, so orders, stock and shipping labels are now handled only in Odoo. End customers buy from the company's own online shop, and business customers order through a separate shop once approved.
Production and packing
Production runs on work orders and a production plan, and cutting plans stay on the bill of materials so no dimension gets lost. Workers report each operation at a terminal on the shop floor, and the time worked per person is visible. A touchscreen packing station works with a label printer and barcodes.
Customer service
Questions, complaints and returns from the marketplaces land in customer service, and a return ends with the matching return invoice. Reputation and shop performance on both marketplaces are tracked in Odoo, and guided walkthroughs in Portuguese help the team learn the screens.
Payroll, payments and infrastructure
Payroll is calculated in Odoo under Brazilian rules. Wages and supplier bills are paid with one bank file. We manage the network and camera access at the site remotely.
The result
- ° Every order in one place, from the marketplace, dealer or webshop to the shipping label.
- ° Production planned with work orders, with the cutting plan on the bill of materials and feedback from the shop floor.
- ° Complaints and returns from the marketplaces handled at a single customer service desk, through to the return invoice.
- ° Payroll under Brazilian rules; wages and supplier bills paid with a single bank file.
- ° Network and cameras on site managed remotely.
